We all are in the process of making spaces every day. It is our collective creative impulse together that imagines, shapes, and orders our worlds. Here I hope you will find some inspiration, some empathetic companionship, and words to help bring wholeness and grounding for shaping all the spaces you inhabit.

I am writing and living these days as a Ukrainian-Scottish/British settler guest within the long-standing territories and communities of the Lekwungen and W̱SÁNEĆ peoples, in the city of Victoria, BC.

 

I was born and raised on Treaty 6 territory in Edmonton, AB and have now lived on the west coast for 14 years with my wife and two children. 

 

A few things I love: Bison in the wild, beach combing for driftwood, inspiring conversations, dried figs, and the smell of cedar after the rain.
